The proposed
new Staunton
State Park located between
Pine and
Conifer is expected to open as the 43rd
State Park
in the Colorado State Parks System. The park
will open
to the public after a full planning process is completed and park infra-
structure
has been constructed. The Master Plan is the first step in that public
process.
Equestrians are in jeopardy of losing out on the opportunity to utilize this
beautiful
new park just as we did at the new Cheyenne Mountain
Park. Help preserve the historic use of horses on Colorado’s
public lands! We equestrians Must work together
to keep potential new trails open to horses. Together
we can save our equestrian trails.
